In July 1997, Con Edison Development made a capital commitment to provide up to $5 million to a fund sponsored by Energy Investors Fund called Project Finance Fund III, LP (the "Fund"). The Fund utilizes the funds received from CED, and other equity investors, to make equity investments in energy and infrastructure projects worldwide. Co-investors in the Fund include: Pacific Generation, Toronto Dominion Investments, Ltd., Mutual of Omaha, Indeck Capital, Dresdner Bank, Atlantic Generation, John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company, and Liberty Life Assurance Separate Account.
