Lakewood Cogeneration Plant (“Lakewood”) is a 236 megawatt dual-fuel facility located in Lakewood, New Jersey, approximately 70 miles south of New York City. Lakewood is a combined-cycle facility consisting of two 11N1 combustion turbines and one steam turbine. Low NOx burners and selective catalytic reduction provide for emissions control. Lakewood is operated and maintained by CED Operating Company, a subsidiary of CED.
The project’s power is sold under a long-term power purchase agreement to Jersey Central Power & Light. |
