Job Titles and Descriptions
Title: Plant Manager
Responsible for the managing of the total
switchyard operations, maintenance and administration activities to ensure safe
and efficient operation of the switchyard in compliance with all applicable
standards and regulations within the guidelines of the operating contract.
Serves as the FERC Compliance Officer
Title:
O&M Supervisor
Responsible for the supervision of the operation
and maintenance of the switchyard to ensure safe and efficient operation and
maintenance of the switchyard within established procedures. Communicates
effectively with both inside and outside agencies to insure safety of personnel
and equipment. Serves as the FERC Deputy Compliance Officer
Title:
Lead Plant Operator
Responsible for performing all High Voltage
Switching operations and record keeping duties to ensure safe operations.
Directs Plant Operators and/or other assigned personnel in compliance with
procedures and requirements for safe operation and maintenance of the
switchyard.
Title:
Plant Technician
Responsible for performing maintenance and
troubleshooting of equipment in compliance with procedures and requirements for
safe operation and maintenance of the switchyard, as directed by the Lead Plant
Operator. Substitutes as a Lead Plant Operator for vacations and other times as
required.
Title:
Lead Mechanic
Responsible for performing equipment operation
and record keeping duties to ensure safe operations in compliance with
procedures and requirements for safe operation and maintenance of the
switchyard.
Title:
Administrative Assistant
Responsible for performing administrative and
clerical duties including record keeping and purchasing duties for the
switchyard.
