Con Edison Development has thousands of megawatts of solar photovoltaic projects in various stages of operation and development nationwide. Con Edison Development owns and operates solar facilities in more than a dozen states. From solar power generation facilities occupying hundreds of acres in the southwest to solar facilities as small as 10 acres in the northeast, our expertise in managing a wide-range of multi-megawatt projects has allowed us to become a leader in solar power production and owner of one of the largest portfolios of solar assets in the United States.
As part of its commitment to environmental stewardship, Con Edison Development is also focused on growing its portfolio of wind power assets. In 2017, Con Edison purchased a pipeline of wind assets, located primarily in the middle of the United States – adding nearly 200 MW of additional output to its existing wind portfolio.
